Key Benefits
This is a brief description of the VVMA
- The VVMA provides critical representation of our profession in Richmond
on legislative issues that concern all veterinarians. Without the
VVMA's
guidance and lobbying efforts, many pieces of legislation that could
negatively impact the profession would likely pass and become law. As
compared to neighboring state VMAs, participation levels in the
VVMA are
considerably lower and limits considerably the financial resources of the
Association. Your paid membership helps the Association meet the
profession's growing needs for representation.
- A generous sampling of products is available as a FREE bonus to New VVMA
members. The value of the product provided by
VVMA Industry Council members
largely offsets the cost of VVMA membership. Products include items like
Frontline, Heartguard®, and Interceptor®
and discounts on items like $500 off a Portavet®
Portable Veterinary Unit.
- In 2007 the VVMA began rolling out portions of the
Business Partners Program which will allow members to take advantage of
discounts on products and services negotiated by the
VVMA. Potential
business partners include credit card processing, check collection services,
collection agencies, office supply companies, cellular phone providers and
more.
